About the White Elephant Shop

The White Elephant Shop was first opened in May of 1952 and is one of the oldest antique shops on the North Shore. The present owners, Rick and Jean Grobe, have been running the store since 1985. Voted the "Best Antique Shop on the North Shore" two years in a row by Boston Magazine, The White Elephant Shop remains the most unique antique and collectible shop north of Boston.

Formerly trained as an artist and designer, Rick has an eye for the unique, interesting and collectible. There is something for everyone at The White Elephant Shop. Dealers, designers, collectors, homeowners, contractors and artists browse through the shop regularly searching for unique and fun items!

We have also added a new gift line. If you are looking for something unique and memorable for your home or a friend then stop in and browse. We have a hysterical line of cards that will keep you entertained.
